Maggie Watson has experience in all aspects of secured transactions, including asset-based financing and equipment financing. Ms. Watson has special experience in commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, sales, financing, construction, leasing and loan restructuring of apartment and condominium complexes, shopping centers, hotels, manufacturing facilities, office buildings and residential properties. She has also assisted clients with the establishment of joint ventures and 1031 exchanges.
Ms. Watson routinely represents both lenders and non-bank lenders and well as equity investors, developers and owners of commercial space.
Ms. Watson also practices before the state courts in Massachusetts and is admitted to practice in the United States District Court of Massachusetts.
Ms. Watson is a member of the Commercial Finance Association and the Real Estate Finance Association. She is a 1990 graduate of Bates College (B.A) and a 1997 graduate of Western New England College School of Law (J.D.) where she won the New England Regional Negotiation Moot Court Competition.
