Jeffrey S. Bovarnick has practiced law for more than 20 years and has concentrated on real estate, business, and litigation matters. In his position as Of-Counsel to Cohn & Dussi, LLC, he continues to focus his efforts and provide effective, meaningful, and cost efficient legal counsel to further our clients’ real estate and business needs.
Mr. Bovarnick has been involved in business and real estate transactions as an attorney, manager, and investor. His real estate experience ranges from representing real estate developers, lenders, and management companies in buying, selling, permitting, and developing to managing, operating, and investing in commercial, retail, and residential projects. The projects include land leases and acquisitions, retail strip centers, single family home developments, commercial buildings, and apartment complexes. He has extensive contract experience ranging from commercial lease drafting and review to an outstanding ability to negotiate skillfully.
Mr. Bovarnick is an expert with consumer debt issues due to purchasing distressed consumer receivables since 1998, representing debt buyers, gaining industry education and being active and involved in trade associations. He deals with compliance, regulatory, and licensing issues on federal and state levels.
Mr. Bovarnick graduated from University of Miami School of Law in May, 1987, and was a visiting student at Boston University School of Law from September, 1986, to May, 1987. He graduated from Boston University School of Management, with a BSBA in Finance in May, 1984. He was admitted to the Massachusetts Bar in 1988, admitted to the Florida Bar in 1994, and is a licensed Massachusetts Real Estate Broker.
